1. Who we are
Novrix builds software and digital products for businesses across
Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC. This policy applies to this
website, novrix.co, and to the
enquiries people send us through it.
If you have a question about anything on this page, or a request
about your own information, email
contact@novrix.co and it
will reach the people who can act on it.
2. What this policy covers
It covers the public website only. Work we do under a signed
agreement with a client — systems we build, data those systems
hold, access we are given to a client's own environment — is
governed by that agreement, not by this page.
3. What we collect
You can read every page of this site without filling anything in.
The only place we ask for information is the contact form. The site
does measure how it is used, through Google Analytics; section 7
explains what that measures, and it is kept separate from anything
you send through the form.
What you type into the contact form
- Your name — required.
- Company name — optional.
- Email address — required, so we can reply.
- Phone number — required, as an alternative way to reach you.
- The service you selected — required, from the list on the form.
- Your project brief — required. This is a free-text field, so please send only what you are comfortable sharing at a first contact.
What the form records alongside it
- The page you submitted from — so we know which part of the site prompted the enquiry.
- The date and time of the submission.
What we do not collect
We do not store your IP address with your enquiry, and we do not
include it in the notification we receive. Your enquiry record does
not include your browser's user-agent string or the site you arrived
from; the site's analytics measures browser, device and traffic-source
information separately, as described in section 7. We do
not ask for, and have no use for, payment details, identity
documents or any special category of personal information — please
do not send them through this form.
To keep the form from being abused, it applies a short-lived,
automatic check on repeated submissions from the same connection.
It uses a one-way value that expires within minutes and is never
attached to your enquiry or kept afterwards.
4. Why we use it
- To read and reply to your enquiry.
- To understand the service or the problem you are asking about.
- To follow up on that enquiry — a proposal, a call, a further question.
- To keep an internal record of genuine business enquiries so a conversation is not lost between people on our side.
- To protect the form itself from automated abuse.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not
add you to a marketing list because you sent us an enquiry.
We handle this information because it is necessary to respond to a
request you made and to run legitimate business correspondence,
and on any other basis that applies under the law relevant to you.
Which basis applies, and what that means in practice, depends on
the law of your country.
Separately, we use website analytics to understand how visitors use
this site — including how often the contact form is completed and
how often the phone, email and WhatsApp links are used — so that we
can improve its content, usability and performance. Section 7
describes what that involves.
5. Where it goes
A submitted enquiry does two things. It is saved as a private
internal record inside this website's own WordPress database,
reachable only by the people who administer the site when signed
in. It is not public, it is not published, it is not part of the
site's sitemap or search, and it is not exposed through the
website's public interfaces.
It is also sent to us as an email notification at
contact@novrix.co, so that a
person sees it rather than a database row waiting to be noticed.
That email carries the details you submitted and is delivered
through our email provider. You may also receive an automatic
confirmation email at the address you gave us, sent from
contact@novrix.co.
6. How long we keep it
Our current policy is to keep contact enquiries for up to
12 months, after which the stored record is
deleted automatically. This is an operational decision we have
made about how long an enquiry stays useful — it is not a period
imposed on us by law.
We may keep something longer where we have a specific reason to:
an enquiry that turned into a client relationship and belongs with
that project's records, or where a legal or accounting obligation
requires it. Email correspondence that follows your enquiry lives
in our email system and follows our normal business
correspondence practice rather than the 12-month rule above.
If you would like your enquiry removed before then, email
contact@novrix.co and ask.
Website analytics follows its own, shorter period. The detailed
event-level and user-level data held in Google Analytics for this
site is kept for 2 months and then deleted
automatically, and a new visit does not extend that period. This is
separate from how long the analytics cookies
described in section 7 can stay in your browser, and it does not
change the 12-month period for enquiries above.
7. Analytics, cookies and browser storage
Website analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is
used, so that we can improve it. Google Analytics is loaded through
Google Tag Manager, a tool that places and manages the site's
measurement code; Tag Manager is not itself the analytics service.
When you open a page, Google Analytics can record the page you view
and its address, the site or source that brought you here, standard
visit information such as when a visit starts and how long a page is
in use, general information about your browser, device, operating
system and screen, and your approximate location, down to city
level, estimated from your connection. It does not record your
precise location.
It also records two things you do on the site. The first is that a
contact form submission completed successfully: it records that one
was sent and the page it was sent from, and nothing else about it.
The second is a click on a phone, email or WhatsApp link: it records
which of the three you used and the general position of the link,
such as the contact section, the site footer or a page that was not
found.
It does not currently measure scrolling, clicks on links to other
websites, site searches, video viewing or file downloads. Nothing
you type into the contact form — your name, company, email address,
phone number, chosen service or message — is sent to Google
Analytics, and neither of the two measurements above carries a name,
email address, phone number or any other detail that directly
identifies you.
To load that code and send those measurements, your browser connects
to Google, so Google may process connection information, including
your IP address, as part of providing the service. Novrix does not
store visitor IP addresses through its analytics. As a safeguard,
Google Analytics is also set to hide email addresses, and the values
of certain page-address details that could contain personal
information, if they ever appear in the address of a page; that
reduces the risk but cannot rule it out entirely.
This site does not use Microsoft Clarity or any advertising or social
media tracking pixel, and it sets no advertising cookie.
Analytics cookies
Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies on this site,
_ga and _ga_56E100BLC0. They hold a
randomly generated identifier that lets Google Analytics recognise
the same browser across visits and group page views into a visit;
they do not contain your name or contact details. They may remain in
your browser for up to 24 months after your most recent visit. That
is how long the cookies can last, not how long analytics data is
kept, which section 6 covers.
You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings. The
site, including the contact form, still works without them.
Browser storage
The site does use a small amount of ordinary browser storage to
work correctly. The opening animation records, for the duration of
your browser tab only, that you have already seen it, so it does
not replay identically on every page you open. That value is a
simple marker, it never identifies you, it is never sent to us,
and your browser discards it when the tab closes.
Signing in to the site's administration area sets the cookies
WordPress needs to keep that session working. Those apply to site
administrators, not to visitors.
8. Services we rely on
Running a website means other companies are involved in delivering
it. These are the ones that matter for your information:
-
Our hosting provider — the site and its database
run on hosting from Hostinger, which means our host necessarily
handles the traffic to this site and stores what the site stores.
-
Email delivery — the notification generated by
the contact form is sent through our email provider so that it
arrives reliably.
-
Google Fonts — the typefaces used on this site
are loaded from Google's font service. That means your browser
requests those font files directly from Google when a page
loads, and Google receives that request in the ordinary way any
web server receives a request for a file.
-
Google Analytics 4 — the analytics service
described in section 7. It receives and processes the
measurements taken on this site.
-
Google Tag Manager — a tag-management service
from Google that loads and manages the Google Analytics code on
this site. Your browser requests that code from Google when a page
loads.
The site's hosting platform also includes a newsletter sign-up
feature that is not used anywhere on this website; no sign-up form
from it appears on any page here.
Our Google Analytics account currently allows analytics data to be
shared with Google for technical support, for recommendations to us
about the account, and for Google's modelling contributions and
business insights. It is not set to share that data for use in
Google's other products and services.
We are not in a position to describe these providers' own internal
infrastructure, and we will not guess at it. Where you need detail
about how a specific provider handles data, their own published
terms are the accurate source, and we will help you find the right
one if you ask.
9. Your requests
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct
something that is wrong, to delete your enquiry, or to stop using
it for further contact. You can also object to how we are using
it, or ask for a copy of what you sent.
Our analytics does not create a personal account or user ID for
you, and it is not linked to your name, email address or the
contents of your enquiry. When it records that a contact form was
completed, it records the event only — not who sent it or what it
said — so we cannot use those details to find an individual
analytics record.
Send any of these to
contact@novrix.co. We will
respond, and we will tell you plainly if there is something we
cannot do and why. We may need to confirm that the request is
genuinely coming from the person the information belongs to before
we act on it.
The specific rights you have, and any deadlines that apply to us,
depend on the law that applies to you. This page describes how to
reach us and what we will do; it does not attempt to summarise the
law of every country we work with.
10. Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry records are stored as
private internal entries that are not published and are not
reachable through the website's public interfaces, and access to
them requires an administrator sign-in. The form itself carries
request validation and automated-abuse checks.
No system is beyond reach, and we will not claim otherwise. What we
can say is that we do not collect more than we need, and we delete
what we no longer need.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change what our analytics measures, for example by adding new
analytics events, change how long analytics data or enquiries are
kept, change how analytics data is shared, or start using another
analytics or tracking service or any other service that handles your
information differently, we will update this page and change the
"last updated" date at the top.
Material changes will be reflected here before the change goes
live, not after.
